Norton Motorcycles will unveil an all-new adventure bike with a (600-700cc) twin-cylinder engine at the EICMA 2025 on Nov 4
We earlier told you that Norton Motorcycles, owned by TVS Motor Company, is all set to showcase four new models at the EICMA 2025 in Milan, Italy. One of these confirmed motorcycles is the all-new V4 superbike while one of the remaining three is going to be a middleweight adventure model to directly lock horns with Yamaha Tenere 700, Aprilia Tuareg 660 and Royal Enfield Himalayan 750. The all-new Norton adventure bike is likely to break cover on Nov 4 with a twin-cylinder engine of displacement between 600-700cc.
A report on AutoCar India states that Norton has benchmarked the twin-cylinder powertrain against Yamaha Tenere 700. Though details are rather scarce at the moment, including the engine type, i.e. whether it will be a V-twin or parallel-twin unit. However, we strongly believe that it will be a parallel-twin engine due to the lower investment costs and higher popularity among the buyers.
The Autocar India report further states that the new twin-cylinder engine could be a heavily reworked version of the 650cc parallel-twin unit used in Norton Atlas. For the unversed, Norton used to sell the Atlas in multiple different avatars before TVS took the ownership reins. Once TVS was at the helm of affairs, the Atlas was quickly discontinued and hence it is entirely possible that the Atlas’ 650cc engine could be used in the upcoming adventure motorcycle.

Since the upcoming Norton adventure bike will be up against the Tenere 700, we can safely assume the inclusion of a few noteworthy elements such as 21-inch front wheel, higher off-roading capability with long-distance suspension travel. There is no denying the fact that it could also have a more road-biased variant with lower saddle height and smaller front wheel.
A few weeks back, Sudarshan Venu, Chairman and Managing Director of TVS Motor Company, had said that upcoming models from Norton would focus on design, detail and dynamism. Hence, we can expect the upcoming adventure motorcycle to get premium and upmarket features with higher priority on detailing, precision and quality. We expect more details to emerge in the coming days as we inch closer to the global debut at EICMA 2025.

Meanwhile, in other news, TVS has already confirmed that it will debut an all-new adventure bike based on the BMW F 450 GS platform at the EICMA 2025 on Nov 4. It is further believed that 450cc engine platform will spawn a Norton model as well, which will be developed locally at TVS factory in Hosur and sold in the Indian market to rival Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
