The Apache RTX 300 comes loaded with multiple never-seen-before features, which have been described in this piece for our readers
TVS Apache RTX 300 was launched just a couple of days back in the Indian market. It was presented in three trim levels namely Base, Top and Built To Order (BTO) in a price range of Rs 1.99-2.34 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Being the first-ever adventure motorcycle from TVS, it was rolled out with several first-in-segment features to rival KTM 250 Adventure, Suzuki V-Strom SX and Yezdi Adventure. In this piece, we will talk in detail about the top 5 features of the TVS Apache RTX.
1. Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
We often see this feature in cars so that the driver stays alert about the air pressure in each of the four wheels. The air pressure is displayed on the instrument cluster. However, the Apache RTX becomes the first motorcycle in its segment to carry this feature, albeit only with the range topping BTO variant. With the introduction of TPMS in the RTX 300, the riders can check the air pressure in both the tyres on the TFT screen.

2. Cruise Control
This is yet another stellar feature offered with the Apache RTX 300 as standard across the entire variant line-up. Needless to mention, cruise control prevents fatigue during the long journeys by maintaining a constant vehicle speed set by the rider without having the need of holding the throttle manually. Hence, staying true to its character of an adventure tourer built for long distance travel, the RTX 300 can be taken anywhere without bothering much about exhaustion.

3. Bi-Directional Quickshifter
This feature is gradually making its way in most of the premium bikes in the Indian market. It enables upshifting and downshifting of gears without the use of the clutch. Though, it is not the only motorcycle in the segment to be packed with a quickshifter as the KTM 250 Adventure also gets it as standard. The gear shifting is smooth while there is barely any impact on the acceleration.
4. Multiple Ride Modes
The Apache RTX 300 is the first motorcycle from TVS to come with four ride modes in the form of Urban, Rain, Tour and Rally. The engine responds differently in each mode while the traction control and ABS response also varies depending upon the terrain. Be it city roads, be it off-road trails or be it the highways, the rider can choose any mode among the four to ensure stability.

5. 5-inch TFT Display with Map Mirroring
The Apache RTX 300 is presented with a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. The riders can pair their Smartphones with the TFT cluster through the TVS SmartXonnect app to access a plethora of features such as turn-by-turn navigation, map mirroring and GoPro control. However, this feature is only available with top-end variants of the adventure motorcyle.
